Arid Land is an abstract landscape showing the desolation and vastness of the open plain outback Australia. Strong dark greens lay in the foreground with the rich earthy tones of browns and blacks set back to convey depth. This painting has bounds of heavy texture which plays to the rough terrain of the dry arid plains.
